Two months after accepting the job as finance director of the Bloomingdale Park District, Antonio Washington has resigned from the place.
So park district worker Jennifer Vale has been named finance director. Vale, who has labored with the district as an accountant since October 2017, formally started her new function on Monday.
“Jenn brings a few years of devoted service to the sphere of accounting and to the Bloomingdale Park District,” Government Director Joe Potts mentioned in an announcement. “I sit up for a few years of robust monetary report maintaining throughout the division in Jenn’s succesful palms.”
Earlier than becoming a member of the park district, Vale was a senior employees accountant at United Airways. She holds a bachelor’s diploma in accounting from DePaul College.
The finance director place pays $78,000 yearly, officers mentioned.
Washington initially was to succeed earlier director June Fergus, who had labored within the place for seven years.
The park district employed Washington on Might 10. He stepped down from the place on Friday, July 16.
Officers mentioned Washington has returned to his earlier job as superintendent of finance and human useful resource with the Oakbrook Terrace Park District. He couldn’t be reached for remark.
Potts declined to remark when requested why Washington resigned from the place in Bloomingdale. He mentioned he has no unwell emotions towards Washington.
